Experience Horse Riding in the Winter… Rafter Six Ranch is one of the only outfitters offering winter riding in the west!
Enjoy the trails covered with freshly fallen snow, or a sleigh ride complete with bells, blankets an experience you’ll always cherish. Then cozy up by the over-sized wood burning fireplace with a warming drink and meal in our licensed dining lounge. So Peaceful.
Rides depart daily at 11:00am and 3:00pm in temperatures above -10 degrees Celsius.

Dog Sledding
"Rocky Mountain Ranchland Tour" with Rafter Six Ranch and Mad Dogs & Englishmen Expeditions! Dogsled through a winter wonderland along a cascading Kananaskis River and through snow laden forest with surrounding views of the Rocky Mountains.
Tour is approx 1 ½ hours including a stop to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies at a traditional Native teepee. Warm up in our Rafter Six Lodge with some good western food and a cozy bed, or make it a family outing with other great activities to add to your enjoyment! Please call for details.
