The Rafter Six Country Church is a charmer! Reminiscent of old country churches this hand crafted structure has grand gothic windows and a cathedral ceiling.
The rich patterns and textures of the wood give a cozy, warm feeling. The altar features a magnificent view of the Rocky Mountains in the KananaskisValley. There is also a choir loft with a traditional church bell and a balcony for unique photographs. The wood burning fireplace provides a pleasant crackling and subtle scent for those cooler days.
Outdoor Chapel
The T'la T'a Dina (T'su Tina (Sarcee) Nation meaning "All Peoples") Fresh Air Chapel was dedicated on September 1, 1979 and has since become renowned as a unique setting for outdoor weddings. Surrounded by a number of stately spruce trees, the chapel benches are constructed of half logs and the alter overlooks the magnificent KananaskisRiver.
Horsedrawn Carriage
Horse drawn vehicles are also available for your wedding party. The four passenger white wedding carriage is included in the ceremony package. Also available for rent are the Democrat Carriage, or the open wagon. All horse drawn vehicles include an experienced driver and well trained horses. Saddle horses are also available for the Equestrians in your party!
